Juno exists to give every person and every household a personal intelligence that knows them completely—and works entirely for them.
We believe the path to that future runs through one uncompromising commitment: always-on context. Your Juno listens, sees, and remembers so that it can act on your behalf with the full picture—no repeated explanations, no lost threads. Because it's present across your home, what's said in one room informs what happens in another. Conversations become commitments, offhand mentions become timely reminders, and the mental labor of tracking a household quietly disappears.
But total knowledge demands total trust, so we make a radical architectural choice: your data never leaves your home, and neither does the intelligence that runs on it. All storage, all compute, all inference happens within your walls. We build the hardware and software to keep your life's context local, encrypted, and inaccessible to us. Privacy isn't a feature—it's the foundation.
From that foundation, we craft a single, unified intelligence that lives across every device you touch—the display in the kitchen, the glasses you wear, the speaker in the bedroom, the TV in the family room. Not a display Juno, glasses Juno, speaker Juno, TV Juno—just Juno. One presence, one personality, one ever-deepening understanding of you and the people you share your life with.
And while that presence is warm, helpful, and even playful, it is never a pretend human. We take inspiration from Disney's animation principles and the beloved droids of science fiction: friendly objects with character, not synthetic companions.
What we are building is not a PhD in your pocket. It's a bright, curious, relentless doer—an executive assistant for your whole life that handles the drudge work (calendars, lists, meal plans, research) so you can spend your finite attention on what actually matters to you.
Over time, Juno will remember what slips through the cracks—a guest's nut allergy overheard a year ago, your child's science project due Monday— because it was there when they were mentioned. Juno becomes the memory and voice of your household—present enough to know what matters, proactive enough to say it out loud, thoughtful enough to know when and to whom. It will co-author bedtime stories in styles your kids love, and unlock capabilities we can't yet imagine.
That's the future we're building: one brilliant, trustworthy assistant that knows each person and serves the whole household, running in every home, beholden to no one but the people who live there.
